Data on air quality (e.g. levels of major pollutants) on a granular basis - that is at least broken down by month (preferably by day). Geographic breakdown (e.g. by grid point) would be nice but is not required.

For the digital form: The different air pollutants that are available in the 2016 zip (there are six of them) are not measured each in the same way that is to say that for some pollutant such as the carbon monoxide there are only two sensors with one that doesn’t have any data; whereas for Nitrogen Dioxide there is data from eight different sensors (eight are tabulated but only one – the Goodwood AQM Station – has almost continuous data). In addition, while for the Nitrogen Dioxide, the City Hall AQM site is present, the Metadata for that sensor does not exist whereas the metadata for all the other sensors can be found in that 2016 zip file.

For available in bulk: It is available in bulk downloads: you can download a zip file with one excel file per pollutant as well as the metadata for each of the sensor stations.

For the terms of use: there is no specific URL, when you click on terms of use it automatically downloads a document where the terms of use are detailed.

In the terms of use, the following is stated. There are some restrictions to the extent for which it can be used but it is within the limits of the law such as that the person who uses it cannot use it to harm someone else, delete content, impersonate someone else, commit a criminal offense – only use the data for a lawful purpose.

Timely basis: Yes the data is up to date (2016). However it is only available since 2013. The last update is of 2016.
