Dubai / Air Quality / 2018
Data on air quality (e.g. levels of major pollutants) on a granular basis - that is at least broken down by month (preferably by day). Geographic breakdown (e.g. by grid point) would be nice but is not required.

Other dataset are available on the same subject and on the exact same conditions of openness:
- Monthly Average of Carbon Monoxide (CO) Concentration by Station
- Distribution of worked air quality monitoring stations by emirate and station location type in United Arab Emirates from 2013 until 2016
The Dubai Pulse platform does not provide datasets on air quality, only this portal does. As mentioned in an other dataset section, the governmental Bayanat open data portal is open, but the quality of the datasets is to be improved. Notably, the availability of detailed information. Here we can see that the information is only available between 2013 and 2016. Also, most data from this platform is not granulated at the emirate-level: we need to look at the dataset to extract the information about Dubai specifically. From my research, datasets about Dubai are only available on governmental platforms who retain and release the information choose. When datasets are found on an other platform, they have usually been published and produced by the government first. I did not find any platform where individuals or citizens produced and released consistent open dataset. It is machine readable but only Excel formats are available, not CSV.
