a) Does the data exist?
The data exist provided by different official sources. However, the only data provided are at an aggregated level: the crimes are divided per type and per year. The data have been found on the open data portal, looking into the different departments related to crime eviction in Hong Kong (Police departments) and on the official census statistics department. Disaggregated data, statistics and records are available (as declared on the Police Department website) at request, for free or at a cost. Data are mainly provided in Excel format and sometimes in PDF format (reports) or in images of charts. The excel tables are not always very clean, and seem not to easy to be read.
g) Is the machine readable data available in bulk?
Data are provided through different departments, as mentioned. Moreover, there are different download links for every category of crime.
h) Is it openly licensed?

i) Is the dataset up to date?
The aggregated statistics are up to date, and historical statistics can be found from the Census Department.
