Via the National Statistics Institute (INE) website, we could find annual reports on national crime and justice statistics, the latest one being from 2013. Even though it is a national analysis, the dataset is divided in a way that the city of Maputo always has its own separated row, along with each of the other provinces. In this sense, it is possible to know the crime statistics for the city of Maputo. The statistics are divided by type of crime (against property, against persons, against the public order), and then sub-divided by gender and age of perpetrators.
