Investment by communes and corregimientos (typology of Medellín for neighborhoods and districts) in the Municipality of Medellín for the years from 2011 to 2017. Nationally produced datasets have been more relevant in our search for data concerning budget transparency. Indeed, the site Datos Abiertos Gobierno Digital Colombia produces data on public expenses by regions and per year, at least for the last five years. There are different datasets for each year and they were all updated for the last time in 2017, at the same day. This seems to be related to electoral years because Colombia had the same president from 2010 to 2018, so, we see that it was an effort from that government to start to open the data.
