This dataset of building permit is public accessible, there is no prerequisite for inscription. Indeed, under the relevant section of planning permit, there are many other datasets differentiated by the sector of usage of land, such as transport (https://www.datashanghai.gov.cn/query!queryGdsDataInfoById.action?type=0&dataId=AD3002015018) municipal project (https://www.datashanghai.gov.cn/query!queryGdsDataInfoById.action?type=0&dataId=AD3002012018)

All the similar datasets are in Chinese and the headers of each column are: the name of the project, the number of permits, the issue date of permits, the building location(only to the scale of district rather than latitude and longitude) and the constructing entity. For this specific building permit dataset, the constructing entities are not only the governmental or quasi-public entities but also private entities.

It is worth mentioning that although according to the description of the dataset, the data is updated annually since 2015, the real data only contains those permits issued from 2012-03-30 to 2015-06-11. After searching through other channels, we cannot find more updated dataset compared to this one
