I first tried to find election results on the data websites of Singapore. They are two of them, one has recently opened (https://data.gov.sg) and one is older (https://ref.data.gov.sg/home.aspx). Since I found nothing on any of these two data portals I visited typed in the google search engine “Singapore government election result” and at the top of the page appeared the website of the Singapore Elections Department (https://www.eld.gov.sg). From there I visited the Singapore Elections’ rubric where I could consult the results of many elections. After visiting the results and their data form I decided to pick the parliamentary election results of 2015 since no machine readable data was available for any election type and year.

There is no information about whether or not they will move beyond this form of data publication, which is very limited, since we cannot use the results. I sent an email, asking for possible evolution in terms of data publication for elections results, to the email address provided on the website but I didn’t get an answer from the department.
