I first searched open data portals but found no relevant information https://egypt.opendataforafrica.org https://egypt.gov.eg/english/general/open_gov_data_initiative.aspx https://www.cairo.gov.eg/Statistics/default.aspx (Open statistics for the Governorate of Cairo)

I then checked specialized websites.

• I have looked in the section of Cairo Portal dedicated to investment, which redirected me to Cairo's investors service office. Looked on the website in the pages “economic indicators”, “List of e-services”, “Business laws” & “Business facts” (--> not relevant information)

• The statistics by the Ministry of Trade and Industry only list foreign trade statistics & economic reports : https://www.tpegypt.gov.eg/Eng/TradeStatistics.aspx

• Finally, I’ve searched the web for open data and more precisely business permit data. I have looked for open data on business permits with the “site” operator. I did not find any results, with “trade licence”, “trade permit”, “business licence”, “business permit” for the websites of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade & Industry, Ministry Of Investment & international cooperation
